Art Cost

a kis lasse uj szosszenete.

"Here is a short video I made for Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall in Arendal, Norway. It is a tour through parts of the permanent, contemporary collection at the art gallery.

The idea was to make a visual representation of how art communicates with the viewers emotions, and it was very inspiring to animate other artists work.

Objects and artists:
"Triplane" schetches for a Mechanical Sunrise, Espen Dietrichson, 2008.
"Kjartan as Marilyn", Kjartan Slettemark 2003.
"Painter in living Daylight", Ole Jørgen Ness, 2005.
"Vellexon 1.2.", Kira Wager, 2008.
"In the flexible, closed Room of the Illusion", Bjørn Carlsen, 1991.
Without title, Jan Freuchen.
"Cut Flowers", Inger Johanne Rasmussen, 2006.

The music was sampled from a piece by Ingebrigt Håker Flaten & Håkon Kornstad and remixed by me.

The video was filmed by hand with a digital SLR camera and animated with Photoshop and After Effects."
